Built in 1997, Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston offers 27 holes of golf with an award-winning 18-hole championship course and an enjoyable, yet challenging, nine-hole par-3 course. Both courses were designed by Mark Mungeam, but according to Terry O’Hara, the club’s golf pro, No. 14 on the 18-hole course presents the greatest challenge. “[No. 14] makes every golfer think about how they want to attack the hole,” says O’Hara. “The hole ranges between 450 and 370 yards and is a slight dogleg left. From our middle tee the hole plays 406 yards, and a pond is strategically placed about 240 yards off the tee. If you are fortunate enough to hit a good shot, you have about 165 yards left to a large green with two separate shelves. Just left of the green is trouble, and two bunkers guard the left side of the green. If you hit this green in regulation you still have work to do. Many small hidden breaks make this the most difficult birdie on the entire course.”
Facilities include a driving range and short-game areas, as well as New England’s only Callaway Performance Center, which opened last year. The colonial-style clubhouse has dining facilities and function rooms
